# what is the current status of iDMRG in ITensor?

I think that discourse thread you linked to ([implementing idrmg](https://itensor.discourse.group/t/implementing-idrmg/168)) still has the most up to date information about the support for iDMRG, in short we support VUMPS through [GitHub - ITensor/ITensorInfiniteMPS.jl: A package for working with infinite matrix product states (MPS) with ITensor.](https://github.com/ITensor/ITensorInfiniteMPS.jl) but don’t yet support iDMRG.
